Ingredients for Doddapatre Thambuli:

  • Big hand full of doddapatre leaves(ದೊಡ್ಡಪತ್ರೆ ಎಲೆಗಳು)
  • ½ cup grated coconut(ಕಾಯಿ ತುರಿ)
  • ½ cup yogurt/Curd(ಮೊಸರು)
  • 10 to 15 Black pepper(ಕಾಳು ಮೆಣಸು)
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds (ಜೀರಿಗೆ)
  • ½ tsp salt(ಉಪ್ಪು)
  • ½ to ¾ cup water (use as needed)(ನೀರು)

For seasoning: (ಒಗ್ಗರಣೆಗೆ)

  • 2 tsp Ghee(for sautéing the leaves and for Seasoning)(ತುಪ್ಪ)
  • ¼ tsp mustard seeds(ಸಾಸಿವೆ)
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds (ಜೀರಿಗೆ)
