avalakki palav | poha pulao recipe

SwayamPaaka, April 1, 2024April 1, 2024

Avalakki Palav, also known as Poha Pulav, is a delightful and comforting dish. This dish features flattened rice flakes (avalakki or poha) cooked with aromatic spices, colorful vegetables. The rice flakes absorb the flavors of the spices and vegetables, resulting in a savory and satisfying dish that is both hearty and light. Avalakki Palav is often enjoyed as a breakfast or brunch option but can also be served as a quick and wholesome meal any time of the day.

This is a Vegan & gluten free breakfast . Coming to avalakki We have three varieties of avalakki/poha, Gatti avalakki(thick), medium avalakki and thin also known as paper(telu) avalakki. For some recipes we use gatti avalakki/thick and for chivda/chooda we use thin poha. Here in this recipe we have used medium avalakki.
