Ingredients for garlic rice:
- 1 tsp ghee
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
- 5 to 6 garlic cloves
- 1/2 of a Byadagi red chili
- Curry leaves
- Hot rice
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Heat a teaspoon of ghee in a pan.
- Add mustard seeds and let them pop. Then add cumin seeds and stir.
- Add the garlic cloves (if they are large, chop them before adding).
- Add the Byadagi red chili and fry until the garlic cloves are well fried.
- Add 2 twigs of curry leaves and fry them briefly. Then turn off the heat.
- Add salt to taste and mix well.
- Put the mixture on hot rice, mix it thoroughly, and enjoy!
